(Alliance News) - Kontron AG on Tuesday projected revenue and earnings growth for 2025, following confirmation that it is on track to meet its 2024 financial guidance.
The Ismaning, Germany-based provider of internet-of-things solutions for industries said it anticipates 2025 revenue between EUR1.9 billion and EUR2.0 billion, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation projected to rise to "at least" EUR220 million.
This outlook follows preliminary 2024 figures indicating that Ebitda surpassed the EUR190 million forecast, reflecting growth of over 50% compared to EUR126.0 million achieved in 2023.
Kontron said revenue for 2024 is expected to surpass EUR1.7 billion, a 38% increase from EUR1.23 billion in 2023.
The company attributed its optimistic outlook to a "significant" increase in order backlog in 2024 and expectations of strong momentum from its product innovations.
Chief Executive Officer Hannes Niederhauser said: "With our secure operating system KontronOS, innovative solutions for ultra-fast 5G data communication and our de facto IoT standards for special markets such as rail technology, defence and smart charging technology, we are driving future applications such as artificial intelligence - based on huge amounts of data that only IoT-enabled devices can deliver.
"We are therefore only at the beginning of a promising growth cycle in IoT technology. "
Kontron will release its full-year results for 2024 on March 27.
Shares in Kontron were up 3.4% at EUR19.12 each in Frankfurt on Tuesday morning.
